Cairo, March 2024:
Stemming from Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt’s (ABK-Egypt) belief in the positive impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in line with the Bank’s CSR strategy that focuses on supporting the health sector in Egypt, the Bank organized a staff visit to Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 in celebration of the Holy month of Ramadan.

This visit comes as part of ABK-Egypt’s corporate citizenship efforts that aims at providing moral support to patients undergoing treatment in the hospital and in continuation of the long-term cooperation between the Bank and the Hospital.

As done over the past years, a group of ABK-Egypt staff members volunteered to participate in a recreational day to spread joy among patients and their families, handing out gifts to little children and decorating the Hospital with Ramadan theme in celebration of the Holy month.

ABK-Egypt has always been keen in taking an active role in improving the standards of living and quality of life of the local communities where which it operates.  Since it started its operations in Egypt in 2016, the Bank has actively supported underprivileged segments of society through various social initiatives, including providing financial relief, shelter, educational, medical support, and food supplies. The Bank also strongly believes in the direct impact of sustainable development on economic stability, and the positive role of sustainable finance on long-term growth, which necessitates giving primary focus on funding projects and activities of positive economic, social, and environmental impact.
