Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt launches awareness sessions on Financial Inclusion in three Governorates

Cairo, August 2024: Within the framework of Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait- Egypt’s (ABK- Egypt) financial inclusion strategy and ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy among all segments of Society, and in alignment with the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) direction, the Bank launched an awareness campaign for financial inclusion and digital transformation in celebration of “International Youth Day”.
Stemming from the Bank’s belief in the importance of raising financial literacy awareness among youth, the Bank organized a series of financial and digital literacy awareness sessions focused on Financial Inclusion. These sessions aimed at expanding the scope of financial services, reaching and engaging with all segments of society while encouraging them to utilize banking services. 
The sessions were held from August 1st to August 15th, 2024 across three Governorates (Cairo, Giza & Aswan) under the guidance of Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), aiming to reach unbanked segments of society and integrate them into the banking sector.
ABK- Egypt offered a range of financial services and innovative products with exclusive benefits throughout the period of the initiative, that included free of charge account opening, free insurance policy against personal accidents, free Debit Card issuance, free Online Banking and Mobile Banking registration and Mobile Wallet registration. 
It is worth mentioning that ABK-Egypt actively participates in all launched initiatives by the Central Bank of Egypt to support the national strategy. Financial Inclusion is a cornerstone of Egypt’s Vision 2030 and is a catalyst for achieving national sustainable development goals aimed at fostering a competitive and diversified economy.
